# Support fo Meta’s ‘Project Phoenix’ and other XR glasses

I would like to know if you plan to offer support for Meta’s “Project Phoenix” or other XR glasses, such as the XReal Aura. I have just implemented support for my mixed reality project on the Meta Quest; however, for the project to succeed, I need to demonstrate to museums that the experience can be enjoyed using glasses that people wouldn’t feel self-conscious wearing. Given that Meta’s glasses will likely be based on Quest software, I assume the code would not need to change substantially. Furthermore, considering the scale of your company, it is highly probable that you already have this hardware and have been working with it for some time, so you should be in a position to provide an answer regarding this.
As for the XReal Aura, I am unsure if you are considering support for them, but their form factor would make them an excellent choice for my project.

Hi Esteban,
Thanks for sharing your project and asking about support for Meta’s Project Phoenix and XReal Aura.
We don’t currently have an announced plan or timeline to support those glasses through the NSDK. Although future Meta glasses may share technology with Quest, device support depends on the specific runtime, tracking, input, and display capabilities, so Quest compatibility would not automatically carry over.
For now, we recommend developing against the platforms currently documented as supported. I’ll record this as product feedback/ feature request, but we can’t make guarantees on a roadmap.
