Any methods to get the detailed map features like restaurants\florist...?

  • Issue category: Lightship Maps
  • Device type & OS version: iOS
  • Host machine & OS version: Mac
  • Issue Environment : Unity Remote / Unity Mock / On Device / Dev Portal

Description of the issue:
Is there any methods to get detailed map features like restaurants\florist…?
I got inspiration from this link https://lightship.dev/docs/beta/maps/features/boundaries/
, but I couldn’t find a way to make it.

Hi Ceasor.

If you open a Wayspot and scroll to the bottom, you’ll see a “Category” section. The values here are crowd-sourced, and some automatically generated, so they may not be perfect - but they’re pretty good!

This only applies to places in the Lightship database. And you will have to decide which Category to use.

Here’s an example of a beach (sand) volleyball court in a land-locked park. You can use the Edit button to add categories.

Hi Ceasor,

Have you had a chance to check out the Buildings feature of Maps? You can highlight retail buildings using that feature.
