I ran the “VPS2 Localization” sample on my iPhone. However, despite reviewing your technical documentation, I couldn’t figure out how to configure it.
I scanned the area and downloaded the ZIP file, but it didn’t work.
Is there a tutorial that walks through the process of getting the “VPS2 Localization” sample to run in Unity, starting from the location scan?
I looked through your configuration pages several times, but I still couldn’t get it to work.
What steps should I take on the Site after uploading my scan data from Scaniverse?
What type of ZIP file should I configure in Unity?
Please tell me
Hi Noriko,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the sample. Could you elaborate on the issues you’re encountering? What setup guides and documentation articles have you looked at so far? Importing ZIP files should only require dragging and dropping the zip file into the Unity editor to import the location.
Could you share your feedback and what particular steps you’re struggling with? I look forward to speaking with you.
Kind regards,
Maverick L.
I scanned it using the Scaniverse app,
but a mesh wasn’t created in Assets.
Q. What setup guides and documentation articles have you looked at so far?
A. I followed the instructions in Scaniverse Documentation | Niantic Spatial Platform
to configure the settings.
Thank you for sharing that with me. Have you seen this consistently even after hitting generate assets? Can you privately message me your site ID so we can investigate what’s going on further?
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Hello,
I’m following up on this support topic. I’ll be taking over for Maverick and I was wondering if you can share with me any of the information you shared with him over private messages to continue troubleshooting. Or if this issue has been resolved please let me know so that I can lock this topic.
