Hello,
when I start a 3D scanning (Mesh), I can see only red mesh. I stop scanning and then open a Scan Error window.
Also if I scan Splat, I finish the scan and start process. Then open a Processing Error window.
I made a lot of 3D scan by Scaniverse app. But I don´t know what happend with app.
Do you have any advice?
- Platform category: Scaniverse App
- Device Model & OS version: Ex: iPhone 16 Pro (iOS 26.4)
- Scaniverse version: V5.2.1

This is a known issue with Scaniverse with an available in-app workaround. To complete mesh scans again, head to your Library, select the gear icon on the top-right, and switch “Ignore Lidar” on. Once that’s completed, you should be able to perform scans in the app without red stripes blocking the viewfinder.

Hello Maverick,
Thank you for your advice. For scanning Mesh is running. But If I scan Splat and start process, then pop up the Window with error.

It looks like the scan may have become corrupted. Since scans are stored locally on the device, there unfortunately isn’t a way for us to recover or repair it.
We recommend performing a new scan while ensuring your device has adequate battery life, minimal background applications running, and sufficient available storage to help avoid similar issues.
