Vps activation failed don this waypoint

Did notice it seemed to glitch out once or twice when I was scanning, so that might be the issue?

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. Our team was able to look into the wayspot and found that there wasn’t enough information for a VPS enabled location. By the looks of it you’re attempting to scan a sign correct?

Our suggestion would be to take more scans and take scans of the sign as well as the surrounding area to capture more details (like the environment as you walk towards and around the sign) there also wasn’t enough frame data so taking longer scans would be helpful as well.

Hi, there doesn’t seem to be an option to scan the waypoint anymore (at least through scaniverse)

I’m sorry for the belated reply. I’m reaching out to you to inform you that the way of creating Wayspots for your AR experiences has changed with the release of NSDK 4.0 as well as VPS2. This quick guide here shows how you can create a scan and localize to it now: https://www.nianticspatial.com/docs/nsdk/first_localization/?platform=unity

If you’re still looking to create your AR experience I’d recommend checking out that guide and NSDK 4. If you’ve already created and finalized your AR experience with the older NSDK 3.17 version it will continue to be supported (you just can’t create new Wayspots or contribute scans to existing ones)
