Hi,
I am recently working on the VPS. I noticed that there are several VPS spots available to me that were scanned before. However, I also found out that some were not existed anymore. For example, the figure below displays a concrete sculpture but it was not there anymore.
- Could you remove it from your database?
- Maybe it would be great to also have some UI buttons to submit a removal request from the spatial browser webpage.

Hello Zhenlin,
Thanks for letting us know. Are there any other locations in the immediate area as well or is it just this one?
Hi Jesus,
Yes, there are still several spots to be removed with new scans for now.
To be removed:
- Library For Personal Development: 3b3b9a28b80245b4b888320b4473def8.16
- TU Delft: Galileo Thermometer: 20069ff50f1f498286b77cdd5ade8b8a.16
- TU Delft - Thermometer: 4f7554b306d24ab39fd00b5d2a735927.16
Thanks for all the information. May I also know the nature of your VPS project? Are the current locations which no longer exist preventing you from further development?
My project is about the navigation and exploration with a university campus. Therefore, these no longer existing VPS locations should not be considered when using coverage API client. Thus, I would like to ask you to remove them. I will also update new scanning of the campus these days.
Thanks for sharing some project details. I’ll let our team know and will reach back out if I require any additional information. If there are any other locations please feel free to list them as well. So far I have:
- Library For Personal Development: 3b3b9a28b80245b4b888320b4473def8.16
- TU Delft: Galileo Thermometer: 20069ff50f1f498286b77cdd5ade8b8a.16

Hi Zhenlin,
Thank you for your patience.
So it seems that these wayspots were originally nominated in game on Ingress years ago. They would need to be removed by reaching out to the support team for Ingress. I can see about getting your request transferred over to them if you’d like
It would be great, thanks!
