For our project, we attempted to make one very large location via many scans. When this produced less than ideal results, we split them into multiple smaller locations, however this causes issue due to all the scans and assets we created being under 1 Site, and we would like a way to easy move them to their own sites.
Thanks.
Hi Nathan,
Thanks for reaching out. If you have access to these locations would you be able to re-scan under the correct Sites? It’s possible to delete Scans so you can delete the incorrectly placed scans and re-scan the areas under the right Sites
Having to go back to a far away location to create more scans, and have to pay more money to generate assets off of them is not very viable.
Is there no way to just move the already generated assets between sites? If so, that really needs to be created, as there are many situations in which this might be helpful.
Hi Nathan,
Got it that’s understandable. In that case let me get some information about the scans that need to be moved and I’ll see what our Scaniverse team can do on their end. Similar to the last post I replied to, it might be better to send this information in via email just to keep all your site information private. I believe I would just need the following info but will reach back out if anything else is needed:
- The name of the Site that the scan should be under
- The ScanID of the scan that needs to be moved. This can be found by going to your web portal on https://scaniverse.nianticspatial.com/, opening the Site it was incorrectly scanned under, going to the Scans tab, locating the scan in question that needs to be moved, clicking on it, and on the right side where the details show up click the copy icon for the ScanID
Hi Nathan,
Checking back in on this. Let me know once you get the chance to send over the sites that need to be moved.
Hi Nathan,
Closing the loop on this (not sure why our last two replies did not come through on the forum) but since you confirmed you no longer need the scans moved, I’ll be locking this topic.
