Description of the issue:
Hi, is it possible to have another scan alignment problem solved and the VPS location re-activated?
This is regarding a public location “Station 3: Schifferleben” at 47.944782, 12.936496
There is a double mesh visible in the wayspot mesh and this is causing intermittent tracking failure. Please see attached screenshot from Scaniverse app for reference.
The previous case of this problem at another location was reported in this thread: Removing a Bad Scan from already activated Wayspot
Hello @Testing_Testerino,
Thank you again for raising this issue! We are working on resolving it, and you should notice an improvement within the next couple of hours.
To better help us prevent this from happening in the future, could you please let us know how you use VPS on this location, target or untarget? Additionally, does this drift happen all the time? If you have a session ID in which you see the drift, that would also be helpful. Thank you!
Hi @Stacy_Niantic, thank you for again resolving the issue!
I have been scanning the locations using the Scaniverse App on an iPhone 14 Pro. I’m not sure how to get a session ID from this. I haven’t enountered this drift on every scan or reactivation. So far it has occurred on 2/8 recent re-activations.
I’m not sure what triggers it, as the scans are taken with the same device.
It would be super helpful for me to be able to access the full database of uploaded scans for a location and remove some bad scans, whether bad quality or alignment. Is that possible? Thanks
