Issue category: VPS
- Device type & OS version: Android 13 and 14
- Host machine & OS version: Windows
- Issue Environment : Scaniverse / Geospatial Browser
- ARDK version: LTS
- Unity version: 2022.3.57f1
Description of the issue:
- Hi guys, need some help please, I’m trying to upload a test scan from my office to play around with VPS, but the mesh it’s not appearing on Geospatial Browser
- I’m pretty sure the account it’s linked, scanned the QRCode and the developer mode it’s activated same email yada yada, the only thing is I downloaded scaniverse from google play store, the link on the documentation says the app it’s not available for my account but when I search on the store it’s available, maybe I’m missing something out?
- Also, even after I’ve linked the account the GSB tab on the bottom doesn’t appear, I’m only acessing through the QRCode
- Recently I scanned using a friend iphone (without lidar) and it works fine, I was thinking it was a lidar compatibility issue but now I don’t know
- Been trying for some weeks now, tried with scaniverse at 4.0.3 and at 4.0.4 and got the same result, the scan works properly on the app, whatever I choose between upload scan or upload later the test scan doesn’t appear on the Geospatial Browser, when I tried with an iphone it appears instantly
- Creating meshs/splats with scaniverse works just fine, even tried to use this meshs into VPS but I think that’s not possible

Hi Termoplex,
Thank you again for your patience.
- Are you creating the location from the in-app Geospatial Browser on your Android device or are you using the QR code to add a scan later on?
- Are you seeing the map icon on the main page of Scaniverse on your Android device? If so, can you confirm that you’re using the same Workspace on your Android device as you’re using when you check when signed into Niantic Spatial’s dashboard? You can see the Workspace you’re using by hitting the top right letter button under the Geospatial Browser title in the app.
- The map icon isn’t appearing? Can you try signing out of your Scaniverse account and signing back in? If that doesn’t make the map icon show up, you can try reinstalling the app entirely from the Google Play Store.
- LiDAR shouldn’t affect your ability to complete scans for a location.

Let me know if you have further questions or need clarification!
Kind regards,
Maverick L.

Hi, Maverick!
I’m creating on the in-app Geospatial Browser
I reinstalled and reenter my account as you said and the icon appeared, checked my workspace and it’s the same as the dashboard, got only one in this account.
Here’s some videos of me trying to upload a scan (My screen recording app was crashing during scan so I had to cut this part)
The test scan still hasn’t shown up
Hi, @Maverick_Niantic , any updates?
Hi @Termoplex_Dev,
This appears to be a processing issue on our end, and I’m working with my colleagues internally to determine the root cause. I will get back to you when I have more information, and I greatly appreciate your patience and understanding!
Kind regards,
Maverick L.
