When I scan the QR-Code under lightship.dev the Scaniverse App opens with the Geospatial Browser as intended. Unfortunately I cannot upload any scans. I have made scans while I already was in developer mode and saved all the resource data with it. Still the scans do not show up for upload.
Also I do not know how to assign a scan to a specific place. When I select the place I created (ie. location id f4d5a7a454cf365bb43f37faae23d3f1.16). I do not see any option to add scans.
Could you please advice me what the exact process would look like? Thank you very miuh.
Hello Jens,
Could you please share a screenshot of what you’re seeing with the location you can’t add scans to? Please do note that you can’t add scans if you’re not at the location to take a scan at that moment.
There are also two scanning options in the Scaniverse app one via Scaniverse itself which is what you see when you first open the app (before linking or even creating an account) and the other is through the Geospatial Browser which can only be accessed after linking your developer account and opening the Geospatial Browser; only the latter option can create Wayspots.
The scans created through Scaniverse cannot be uploaded to the geospatial browser. In order to create a Wayspot out of a location (and contribute scans to already existing Wayspots) it has to be done through the Geospatial Browser in Scaniverse.
